AI for fiduciary & finance

Reporting and planning for fiduciary and finance teams

Prepare management reports, investigate budget variances and make planning assumptions traceable: we start with one specific workflow for your team. Together, we agree data sources, business rules and acceptance criteria. Then we select the appropriate AI connection for Abacus, Bexio, SAP or additional planning data.

A concrete result for your finance pilot

Documents and closing preparation
Compile missing documents, unusual postings and open questions from agreed sources. The pilot accesses financial systems read-only; professional review and postings remain with your team.
Client and customer questions
Answer open-item and document questions for approved clients. Which data a person may see is verified in the connection and tested with both permitted and denied requests.
Management reporting
Prepare an agreed report with metrics, sources and explanations of variances. Definitions, period boundaries and reference values are established with the business team in advance.
Planning and forecasting
Prepare actual-versus-plan comparisons and liquidity or revenue scenarios using approved assumptions. Calculation rules, data currency and uncertainties are made explicit; your team checks the results.

Confidentiality and the FADP

The source system, model destination and storage are considered separately. Even if original records remain in Abacus, Bexio or SAP, retrieved content may be transmitted to an AI application and its model provider. A local MCP server does not prevent this. User permissions and client separation must be effectively enforced in the connection.

Before implementation, we document recipients, hosting, model location, logs, retention and terms for data use. You approve the architecture; your responsible teams assess data protection, confidentiality and required agreements. Local or Swiss operation is an option to assess. Legal advice is outside the implementation scope.

Test the pilot, decide on production separately

Four to six weeks is a planning assumption for a clearly scoped pilot once access, suitable data and required approvals are ready. Your team checks results against the agreed business rules and acceptance criteria. Production operation, permission acceptance, monitoring, training and handover are agreed and approved separately.

Limits we state up front

  • No postings, payments or filings by the finance pilot. Access to financial systems is read-only.
  • No circumvention of client separation in the source system.
  • No payroll data unless you explicitly approve it.
  • No tax or legal advice by the AI.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with Abacus and Bexio?

A connection may be possible if the required data and permissions are available through suitable interfaces. For Bexio, we assess the REST API; for Abacus, the options depend on the version and licensed modules. SAP and other sources are assessed against the same pilot requirements.

Does every clerk see all clients?

The connection must only expose clients and data approved for the requesting person. We verify user mapping, interface permissions and client separation through both permitted and denied access tests. Sign-in alone is not sufficient evidence.

Does client data stay in Switzerland?

This must be verified across the entire data flow. An MCP server in Switzerland is not enough if an AI application, model or its logs process data elsewhere. Processing locations, provider terms and settings are documented and approved by you.

What is the best way to start?

Start with a specific reporting or planning task. We agree data sources, business rules, reference results and acceptance criteria, then check access and data quality. Four to six weeks is a planning assumption for the clearly scoped pilot once these prerequisites and approvals are in place. Production operation follows only after separate planning and acceptance.

Let’s check whether it holds up for your systems.

We first clarify your use case, data sources, permissions and acceptance criteria. The feasibility review documents prerequisites and limits before a pilot is agreed.
